This job sounds good. They provide you with training. Also this job is a contract this is rare being a camera man because you could be only working on a show for a certain amount of episodes, the rate of pay is a decent one ( 9ph ). This job role sounds a like a common camera operator there isnt anything what stands out to me what makes me want to do this job.
Producer
This job role looks like a steady job with a good pay. Looks like you need good experience and education to have this job. This job is something I would like to do because it seems very interesting and challenging but also creative.

This is the job that I really want. This job requires you to be creative and imaginative with coming up with good ideas. This excites me because you can bounce your ideas of other people to make them better and get feed back.
UCAS CHOICES
All my choices consist of media, television or film. This is because I like to be creative and make something of my ideas and want to learn more about media and gain more skills. Media, TV and film is a great industry to get in because there is so many jobs you can do. All the choices I have put down are all local universities and colleges. I want to stay local because if anything goes wrong I am not far from home. Ive spent 3 years at college doing Media production so I want to carry on learning.
SWOT
S - Strengths. I am very creative and fast at coming up with ideas. I also like to work in a team so we can bounce ideas of each other. I have good technical skills such as editing.
W - Weakness. My weakness would have to be rushing into things. I need to take a step back and plan out everything I need to do and think of what troubles i might run in to. I need more patience.
O - Opportunities . In the past we did script writing and then turned one in to a film (unit 22/24) . This was great experience for me cause this is what I want to do in the future. It gave me a insight of what it would be like as a job i really enjoyed it. I have applied for unit the courses all relate to what I want to do in the future. The courses will help me gain more experience and hopefully a job. I hope the future units help me gain more skills.
T- Threats. The threats are that I have a part time job so I spend most of my weekends and sometimes during the week working there is doesn't give me much time to do and catch up on work. There is a lot of pressure on me to do well and get in to uni.

studio production 2
My idea is based on the way IGN present their news. I would like to base my news on everything gaming. Such as Consoles,Games and events like E3. They also go to events and conventions. This is because I dont want the news to get confusing and start talking about two separate things so I will keep it basic. I will have only one presenter stood in front of a green screen. The green screen will show new games and new consoles etc. and the presenter will be going in to detail about them. I will add some humour into the script.
Because IGN is based on gaming and everything entertainment most of the stuff they talk is for more male audiences. The age range for IGN can be any age up to 12-50 both male and females. But my reasearch says most gamers are females.

Another show what is simular to IGN is Machinima. This is also a successful because of the viewings. IGN and Machinima both have a youtube channel and they are very popular with millions of subscribers watching their videos. So my idea will be popular because IGN and Machinima are the only two big companies what actually do this sort of news. Also IGN add some humour(banter) with the presenter. Most people will watch ign because of the presenters because they have this comedy side to them.
The problems I might face is finding someone willing to present for me but who will take it serious and findning the right time for them.The other issue will be time because something like this isn't easy or fast to make, also sharing a studio with other classes will be difficult.Also writing a script was is good enough and easy for the presenters to read. I will get over these problems because I've had experience of doing a studio production before. I will make sure we book to go into the studio way before the deadlines and get rehearsals done so we are ready for the final production. I will do rehearsals for a presenter so I know who is right for the job.
The typical conventions are showing game trailers, news about new games, pictures, and fancy aftereffects.
GUESTS AND CREW
The crew needed will be 3 camera operators, one director,one floor mananger,one sound mixer ,presenter and a vison mixer. I am not sure yet if I am going to have guests on the show yet so up to now I will only need one microphone for the presenter.
